The product package said 15 months protection was offered with this program, but after I installed it and then registered it, only 12 months were allowed. I had to e-mail support three times asking for help. I could not believe the first reply....I was told I had to take a picture of the package and e-mail it to them!!! That's right, instead of just going ahead and making a minor adjustment to my account by simply adding 3 months protection as promised on the product package, their response added an unrealistic (to me anyway) requirement. I promptly replied, telling them that I'm a senior citizen who doesn't own a digital camera, and wasn't able to send them a picture of the package. So I once again asked for a simple extension of my protection from 12 months to the promised 15 months. The reply I received to that email instructed me to call their sales department. A classic example of passing the buck.

This program was easy to install and is easy to use. It doesn't eat up a lot a resources like Norton. It's also a very small install file, so you won't use a lot of hard disk space.

I have bought several of the past editions of Webroot and never had problems with them. This version, though, has been nothing but trouble for me. It is making my computer act funky. Every time it does one of its scheduled scans, it completely freezes up my computer and causes all sorts of havoc. I hate that I spent the money on an antivirus program that is doing more harm to my computer than good.
